About Dr. Ikeda & Dr. Yoo
Dr. Eric T. Ikeda, O.D, F.C.O.V.D., DPNAP is the Owner/President of Optometric Vision Care Associates, Inc. whose practice specialties include: Primary, behavioral vision care with an emphasis on developmental disabilities and acquired visual deficits, vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation.
Dr. Ikeda earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry and is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. He is past president of the Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and has been presented with the Advancement of Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Award, the President’s Award and the “Founding Fathers Medal” for his continued service to NORA. He has been inducted as a Distinguished Practitioner into the National Academies of Practice (Optometry Academy), and was recognized as “Physician of the Year” by the Rehabilitation Nurses Society.
Dr. Ikeda served as President of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation while continuing to serve as Clinical Associate Professor of the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. He was also appointed to the American Optometric Association Vision Rehabilitation Committee and the TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries) Task Force.
Jennnifer Zhang Yoo, OD graduated from the New England College of Optometry and completed her residency at the Southern College of Optometry. She has completed a number of clinical externships as well, including one treating patients with vision impairments and TBI at the VA Connecticut Health System. There she conducted low vision evaluations and treatments and attended resident lectures on low vision and neuro-optometry topics.

Dr. Ikeda and his Staff are very professional! Eye exams are very thorough, from the pre-testing to sitting down with Dr. Ikeda for the visual exam. I recently went back to Dr Ikeda. My vision insurance had changed back in 2017 and I had to go elsewhere. But now in 2025 I can have him as my Optometrist again! I highly recommend Dr Ikeda and his Staff.
